A motor home in West Kelowna suffered “severe damage” in a fire on Saturday.

Brent Watson, assistant chief of fire in West Kelowna, said firefighters arrived at the Paradise Mobile Home Park home on Boucherie Road on Saturday lunchtime to find “severe fire conditions”.

“The fire was quenched quickly, but the carport is a total loss and the house itself suffered severe damage to the adjacent wall and smoke in the interior,” said Watson.

“Nobody lived in the apartment and the fire is still being investigated at this point. It is believed that the owners are insured. “

No people or pets were injured during the fire.
