Because of the snowy and icy weather conditions, the City of Kelowna has made changes to the Remembrance Parade route and closures.
The parade is now set to begin on Mill Street, adjacent to Kerry Park. It is still scheduled to start at 10:40 am
Because of this, Mill St. will be closed between the laneway behind Bernard Avenue and Kelly O’Brien’s restaurant starting at 7:30 am
At 10:15 am, the section of Bernard Ave. adjacent to Kerry Park and Abbott St. between Bernard and Lawrence Ave. wants closed for parade traffic.
No changes have been made for the route after the Remembrance Day services.

There will be some road closures and parking restrictions around Kelowna for Remembrance Day.
Kelowna’s Royal Canadian Legion branch 26 will be leading a parade through downtown and the memorial ceremony.
Starting at 10:40 am, the parade will start along the lakefront from Stuart Park and make its way down Abbott Street to City Park.
Because of this, starting at 10:30 am, Abbott will be closed to traffic between Bernard and Lawrence avenues.
So Barricades wants up at Bernard at Mill Street.
Following the Remembrance Day ceremony at the cenotaph at City Park, the parade will make its way towards Kelowna City Hall along Lawrence and Water Street.
From 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Lawrence will be closed between Water and Abbott streets, and Water Street will be closed between Lawrence and the Queensway traffic circle.
From 7 am to 12:30 pm, parking will be restricted along the parade route.
All parking restrictions and road closures are expected to be lifted by 1 pm

Kelowna Remembrance Day Traffic
