The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) has arrested three suspects from southern interior British Columbia in a major drug debate.

On Thursday, August 29th, ALERT announced that its officials had seized cocaine, cash, BMWs and banned ammunition from a house and warehouse near Edmonton.

<p dir=As a result, 28-year-old Matthew Bailey from Kelowna, 22-year-old Morgan De La Ronde from Kelowna, and 26-year-old Devon Burtch from Kamloops were arrested and jointly charged with possession of drugs for human trafficking, crime, and property of a prohibited device.

A total of 4.8 kilograms of cocaine, US $ 16,380 in cash, two BMW vehicles and two banned handgun magazines were seized in the investigation.

This investigation was first opened in July 2019 in response to drug trafficking concerns.

All three defendants were previously charged with similar offenses in Prince George.
