Fire sends two to the hospital

UPDATE: 7am

Two people were rushed to hospital on Friday evening after being burned and inhaling smoke after the mobile home caught fire.

West Kelowna Fire Rescue responded to the fire at Boucherie Road 1880 at around 10 p.m.

While the two people managed to get off the bus on their own, they suffered injuries and were rushed to Kelowna General Hospital by ambulance.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly.

The investigation into the cause of the fire will continue on Saturday morning.

Firefighters respond to a fire in a mobile home in West Kelowna.

The fire is in the 1800 block of Old Boucherie Road.

There are no flames, but a lot of smoke comes out of the building.
