Three recent Kelowna flights have brought COVID-positive people on board, but cases on domestic flights remain relatively low.
In the past two weeks, the BC Center for Disease Control has identified a COVID positive person on the following local flights:
- June 1: Air Canada / Jazz 8401, Calgary to Kelowna, rows 7-13
- June 4: Air Canada / Jazz 8408, Vancouver to Kelowna, rows 12-18
- June 6: Air Canada / Jazz 8421, Kelowna to Vancouver, rows 4-10
Anyone who was on the affected flights should watch out for symptoms for 14 days. There have been 14 possible exposures on domestic flights through BC in the past two weeks.
So far, 75 flights to and from Kelowna have carried passengers who later tested positive for the virus. Throughout 2020, there were 61 exposures on Kelowna flights. The full list of expositions can be found here.
