The Kelowna retailer broadcasts “thrilling modifications” to the historic downtown location

Sturgeon Hall restaurant has announced that it is preparing some exciting plans for its long-standing Kelowna business.

The restaurant will be closed for the month as changes in business are being worked on. No more restaurant, the sign says Sturgeon Hall Pub now.

Sturgeon Hall was founded 20 years ago and has been owned by the same two landlords, Bernie Wilson and Louis Drummond, since its inception.

According to their website, the building itself is part of the Canadian List of Historic Places, built for the Leathley Family Printing Company in 1921.

While we wait for the changes to be published, Sturgeon Hall has annoyed its followers with some progress reports on social media.

The Sturgeon Hall pub said they are expected to reopen in early May, and in the meantime their sister pub, Fernando’s, across the street will be open as usual.
