A small business owner speaks to the public after stealing nearly $ 100,000 worth of equipment.

Aqua Gardens and Landscapes owner Glen Mitchell says he just bought a used Bobcat S590 skid steer loader and loaded it onto a trailer and hitched it to a 2006 Ford F450 truck when everything was missing on Monday morning.

“It was all ready to plow,” says Mitchell. But when he used it, everything was gone. It was last parked in the area of ​​KLO Road and Benvoulin Road.

“I knew it was there on Saturday afternoon because I picked up my bobcat (new to me). I parked it, took some pictures to show some friends, and stayed inside on Sunday. I am Going out Monday and he wasn’t there, “says Mitchell.

Mitchell reported the theft to RCMP. Mitchell’s RCMP file number 2021-5848. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact the police.
