Cottonwoods death toll is rising

Another person has died in connection with the outbreak at the Cottonwoods Care Center in Kelowna.
The nursing home now has 29 cases with 26 residents and three employees who tested positive, according to Interior Health.
Sandalwood Retirement Resort in Kelowna has 25 cases with 24 residents and one staff who tested positive. One person died.
Orchard Haven Long Term Care in Keremeos now has two cases where a resident and a staff member have been confirmed positive.
Asymptomatic tests have been in place since Thursday, according to Interior Health, which has helped identify these additional cases.
