(UPDATE: July 31 at 12:05 p.m.): The Kelowna RCMP is looking for a man suspected of robbing a bank with a gun.

Police were called to the RBC on Pandosy Street just after 10 a.m. this morning.

All available resources “flooded” the area, including the police, including dogs and a helicopter.

But the suspect, who fled the scene with an unknown amount of money, is still on the run.

“The officers are conducting a coordinated search for the person and are urging the public to report any suspicious activity immediately,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

<p>“Please do not approach this person or try to stop them if you think you have seen them.” </p>
<p>The suspect wears a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, a gray hoodie, and a mask. </p>

<p dir=Witnesses told KelownaNow that the local RBC office had been robbed.

A KelownaNow reporter at the scene said there is still a small police presence outside the bank.
