Burglary captured on video
A Kelowna resident raises the alarm after her shed on Abbott Street was broken into.
“The alleged thief stole cleaning supplies that were used to clean the neighborhood of discarded needles and rubbish. The man was registered with the break-in on Sunday, July 25th at 5:51 am,” said the resident.
The police have been informed of the incident.
According to the local resident, the man was seen in the video trying to sell stolen items at the recycling yard in the city center.
“As a result of this theft, the neighborhood lost one of their tools to keep discarded needles and rubbish off the beach and neighborhood streets,” added the local resident.
