A booth on Bennett Bridge caused a major traffic jam on Friday afternoon
UPDATE 6:20 p.m.
Drivers are still seeing tremendous delays on the way over the Bennett Bridge to Kelowna.
Traffic lags behind until Hudson Road after a mid-range stop.
To make matters worse, there is a new rear-end collision on Highway 97 in West Kelowna near Ross Road.
Anyone driving from the Westside to Kelowna in the next few hours should take their time.

On Highway 97 in the direction of Kelowna over the Bennett Bridge, a massive traffic jam is slowly dissolving.
There was a stable on the bridge that has now been cleared.
The incident caused delays of more than 45 minutes for those driving into Kelowna.
Drivers must expect significant delays while the backlog dissipates for the next few hours.
