Skyline Pump improvements

The City of Kelowna has announced that work will begin this week to move the Skyline Pump Station above ground.
The original pumping station on the corner of High Road and Clifton Road was built underground in the 1990s to pump drinking water to higher altitudes.
These improvements will address flood and safety issues when building a new electrical room and moving the equipment above ground. The new facility will be built on top of the existing underground facility.
This is a $ 1 million project that will not affect traffic in the area except for occasional interruptions to allow material to be delivered.
