In Kelowna, flames lit the sky last night when a shed fire spread in the attic of a house.

At around 9:45 p.m., firefighters were called over the shed fire on the 800 block on Coronation Avenue.

It was quickly extinguished, but not before it spread to the attic of the house.

“The residents of the house were informed of the fire by a neighbor and were able to escape unharmed before the fire department arrived.”

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
