Kelowna RCMP is looking for a male suspect in connection with a theft that occurred just before noon on Sunday in the 2400 block of Highway 97N.
A company employee reported that a man walked into the store and walked out with the cash register drawer.
Officers and police dog services immediately visited the store but were unable to find the suspect.
“The investigations carried out by our frontline officers resulted in evidence including video surveillance being collected,” says Cst. Solana Paré from the Kelowna RCMP.
“Investigators are looking for witnesses who may have seen the video surveillance suspect fleeing the scene.”
The employee was not injured in the incident.
Police found that the suspect had left in a full-size white pickup truck with a black trailer that contained a recreational vehicle. The make and model of the vehicle and trailer are currently unknown.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’10 with a slim build, with short light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, light blue jeans, black running shoes, a black baseball hat, and an orange watch.
