RCMP searches for a male suspect following an armed theft in a Kelowna retailer

Mounties in Kelowna investigate an armed robbery.

It happened at around 3 p.m. on Sunday in a shop on the 1400 block of Hwy 33W.

Police said a man entered the building and made “a gun” before asking for cash.

When he got the money, he fled the scene.

The officers searched the area for the man but could not find him.

He is described as white and wears:

  • sunglasses

  • Touch

  • A medical mask

  • A black jacket

  • A rucksack
