Kelowna RCMP seized illegal drugs and arrested two people after a second search warrant was carried out in the same neighborhood in less than a week.
Less than a week after searching a house on 100 block of Prior Road South in Kelowna, officials completed another search in an independent drug trafficking investigation at a residence on 300 block of Mallach Road, just blocks away .
“During the search of the residence, the police confiscated quantities of suspicious methamphetamine, crack cocaine and fentanyl,” explains Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy from the Kelowna RCMP.
“The search found that two men who lived in the house had pending arrest warrants on matters relating to unrelated matters. They were taken into custody without any problem. “
RCMP has not filed any charges at this point, but says the investigation is still ongoing.
The full results of the investigation will be forwarded to the Crown Counsel for review and approval.
