RCMP has arrested several suspects outside a house on Tomby Court in Kelowna.

Don Lewis tells Castanet the officers showed up just after 10 a.m. on Friday and started taking people into custody. The photos and video show several suspects, both male and female, handcuffed in the driveway of the apartment building.

“Seven or eight people have been handcuffed outside the house, some of them have already been put in cars and they (RCMP) said they will be there for most of the day,” says Lewis.

Lewis says, “There was a major drug break there about a year ago, they had five or six different types of drugs in the house, and I saw people coming and going.”

Castanet reported the last incident at this location in February 2020.

Kelowna RCMP seized ketamine, heroin and cocaine after a search warrant was executed on a house on the 600 block of Tomby Court.

At the time the RCMP stated, the officials were “opening an investigation based on information from concerned residents in the neighborhood”.

Castanet has contacted RCMP for more information and we will update this story as it develops.
