The Pulp Fiction Coffee House has been in operation on the corner of Pandosy and Lawrence for seven years.
Coffee shop owner Max and Gloria Sloan have now opened a second location in the Bernard Avenue district in downtown Kelowna, formerly known as the Towne Center Mall. The new location is spacious, bright, and serves breakfast and lunch, as well as its own brand of Pulp Fiction coffee, sold in 1 pound bags with a refillable glass container. The breakfast menu includes croissants, sausage rolls, bagels, omelets, avocado toast, muffins and scones. The lunch menu includes croissant sandwiches, bagel sandwiches, paninis and Montreal smoked beef on rye. The coffee house offers a wide variety of pastries and sweets such as banana bread, biscotti, butter cakes, donuts, cinnamon rolls and mini cheesecakes. Pulp Fiction is environmentally conscious and uses bamboo cutlery and sugar cane plates. Eat in or take out. Open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Pamela Renzi wrote and published her second book and first children’s story, The Global Christmas, to promote peace, love and joy in the community. The book for children between the ages of four and twelve won the Book of Excellence and was written to let kids know that the season is about giving us friends, family and community. It teaches compassion, care, and unity. The front page is a series of images from different countries. The yellow lines throughout the book are the love vibration that is sent to everyone we meet. That year, the McFadden Buttar & Associates team celebrated their 10th anniversary and submitted a budget rental truck for local charities. December 11th Peter McFadden, Amrit Buttar, Eva tomorrow and Jackie Gidda Together with their 14 elves, they filled 19 Costco carts with supplies for food banks and other various charities in our town. Over the past decade, this group has filled more than 150 carts with donated groceries valued at more than $ 75,000.
