Another Kelowna store has been identified as a possible location for COVID-19 exposure.

On Friday afternoon, Interior Health posted a notification that anyone who visited the Fossello clothing store on July 18 or the morning of July 20 may have been exposed to the virus.

The women’s clothing store is located in The District at the Bernard Mall in downtown Kelowna. The shop will remain open from Friday afternoon.

IH said further COVID-19 tests identified the company as a potential exposure site, although the health authority did not elaborate on how this was found.

Everyone who visited the clothing store during these appointments was asked to self-monitor for symptoms and get tested if symptoms are detected.

The warning comes after a similar notice was posted earlier this week through Brown’s Socialhouse in Kelowna. Similar notices have also been issued for Kelowna’s Cactus Club, Pace Spin Studio, Discovery Bay Resort, and Boyce Gyro Beach Lodge.

IH says testing is recommended for anyone who experiences the following symptoms:

  • fever
  • to cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Other milder symptoms may include: runny nose, tiredness, body aches (muscle and joint pain)
  • Diarrhea, headache, sore throat, vomiting, and red eyes
