Police looking for knife-wielding man accused of assaulting employee at Kelowna business

The Kelowna RCMP is hoping the public can help identify the suspect in an assault investigation.

According to police, the unknown man entered a business in the 1400 block of Harvey Avenue on Jan. 31 and a verbal argument ensued between him and an employee.

“The suspect then assaulted the employee and threatened them with a knife before departing the business,” the RCMP explained.

The man is described as a white male around 50 years of age with a mustache and goatee.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a black Rolling Stones shirt, green pants, dark boots, a beige jacket and a toque.
