Police have confiscated medicine and pretend weapons from Kelowna’s residence

A 43-year-old Kelowna woman has a future court date after the RCMP issued a search warrant on her home on Wednesday, December 11th.

The Kelowna RCMP Community Safety Unit (CSU) seized illegal drugs, counterfeit guns and cash from the residence on the 800 block on Harvey Avenue.

According to the police, the arrest warrant was linked to an active criminal investigation into the alleged drug trafficking in the city center.

“During their search of the house, police confiscated quantities of suspicious fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin,” said Cst. Solana Paré from the Kelowna RCMP.

“Our officers also confiscated numerous counterfeit firearms and various drug paraphernalia commonly used for trafficking in controlled substances within the residence, as well as an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.”
