PIGS, Canada’s most authentic Pink Floyd Tribute, will bring its critically acclaimed show to the Insert venue in 2017. Their PIGS ON THE WING show celebrates the 40th anniversary of the release of Pink Floyd’s 1977 classic album Animals. As one of the band’s toughest and most political statements, the concept album has become a favorite with legions of fans, and Pigs will perform the album in its entirety along with material from the band’s legendary repertoire.

PIGS continues to surprise and delight audiences with authentic performances of Pink Floyd classics, including many songs that have rarely (if ever) been performed live. The lights, lasers, the giant screen and the absolutely authentic live sound come together to live the experience of Pink Floyd in the 1970s.

The fame of PIGS is their authenticity. PIGS reproduce the Pink Floyd sound with authentic equipment and accurate live renditions of the songs. Every detail of the look, sound and feel of the classic era of Pink Floyd is meticulously worked out and perfected and each band member takes on the role of their Floyd counterpart. Since their inception seven years ago, PIGS have found an amazing audience with their dynamic replica of one of the world’s most popular rock groups. With the death of keyboardist Richard Wright in 2008, Pink Floyd fans lost hope of ever seeing their favorite band reunited. PIGS offer the next best thing: an authentic look back into the breathtaking past of one of the most timeless bands in the world.
