Patrons promptly escorted out of Kelowna Neighborhood Theater following combat

The representative said that security was able to intervene quickly after a fight broke out among a few patrons. Fortunately, once they were removed, Steve-O’s comedy show was able to carry on as normal.

“We are aware that an altercation occurred at Kelowna Community Theater last night in advance of the second show starting,” said the City of Kelowna in a statement.

“We don’t condone behavior of this nature, especially at our Community Theatre. We believe this to be an isolated incident and is not reflective of our theater audiences.”

The Kelowna RCMP has yet to issue a statement about the incident that took place between a small group of audience members.

‘Jackass’ star Steve-O was in town performing two comedy shows at the theater as a part of his ‘Bucket List’ tour.

A video posted to a Kelowna Facebook group has gathered more than 150 comments with many detailing what went down at the show.

A few people who attended the show said that the brawl broke out about 20 minutes before Steve-O’s second show at 10 pm.

The video, which has also been posted to YouTube, shows two men fighting each other while a woman is seen assaulting several people in the row behind her.

Attendees commented on the social media post saying chaos broke out before security guards were able to step in and remove the disruptive group of people from the theatre.
