COVID-19 continues to spread across the area and schools in the central Okanagan are definitely not immune.
According to school district 23, three other facilities reported COVID exposures on Saturday. These included Black Mountain Elementary, George Elliot Secondary, and Ecole Kelowna Secondary.
SD23 didn’t mention how many people tested positive for the virus. Those affected are now self-isolating and working with local health teams.
“The safety and well-being of students, families and employees continue to be our top priority,” wrote SD23. “Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement strict health and safety protocols and procedures in place so that students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible.”
