KELOWNA – Rona, Home Depot and Home Hardware move, a new big box store is coming to Kelowna.

Lowe’s plans to open a store on the old site of the Western Star Trucking facility on Enterprise Way. The company applies for its building permit at the city council meeting on Monday.

A large storage and garden center with an area of ​​around 11,450 square meters is planned.

Lowe’s is currently opening a location in BC, New Westminster, but announced back in May that it would add stores in Victoria, Nanaimo, Abbotsford and Prince George.

As one of the retailers who pledged to take over former Target locations, the home reno store also jumped on board.
