COVID-19 exposure has been confirmed at the École Kelowna Secondary School.
The affected person is self-isolating at home, the school district said.
Interior Health uses its contact tracing process to keep track of anyone else who may be exposed to the virus.
The school district added, “The safety and well-being of students, families and employees remain our top priority.
“Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement strict health and safety protocols and procedures in place so that students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible.”
Anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 is encouraged to stay home from school.
