The Central Okanagan Chapter of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association is accepting nominations for the 30th annual Okanagan Housing Awards.
The annual showcase honors the best projects of the year in the fields of new construction, apartment renovation and interior design. The awards not only recognize the most spectacular houses in the region, but also recognize outstanding achievements in the areas of environmental efficiency and multi-family construction.
The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
“During the COVID pandemic, housing was one of the lights of our local economy,” said Dan Winer, executive officer of CHBA-CO, in a press release. “In the past 18 months we have built and renovated an impressive number of homes in our area as more and more people call the Okanagan home.
“These awards are an opportunity for us to recognize the importance of the housing sector for our community while at the same time highlighting the quality of the craftsmanship of our local builders, renovators, designers and craftsmen.”
Kelownas Harmony Homes and Frame Custom Homes both won OHAs last year and have been honored at the provincial and national levels.
The nomination window is open until Friday, November 6th. You can find more information about this procedure here.
