No charges yet after raid

No charges have been laid yet, following a police raid at a Kelowna home last week.

Kelowna RCMP officers and Emergency Response Team members surrounded a home on Martin Avenue on the morning of Nov. 17.

While few details about the investigation were released by police, the Kelowna RCMP said they were assisting the Vancouver Police Department in executing a search warrant, and “several” arrests were made.

The VPD told Castanet the investigation was “related to violence and organized crime.”

Thursday, Sgt. Steven Addison of the VPD said the investigation is ongoing, but no charges have been laid at this time. No further details about the investigation have been released.
