Drivers in West Kelowna enjoy it.

The new roundabout at the Gellatly-Carrington Road junction is almost complete.

On Thursday, July 29th, around 6 p.m., it will be permanently open to motorists again

The city says the final landscaping work will continue for the next several weeks without disrupting traffic.

The completion of the project marks the end of the lengthy periodic closures of the busy intersection due to construction work.

The $ 1.32 million Gellatly-Carrington Roundabout project also includes a three-meter-wide, multi-purpose paved path between Witt and Boucherie Roads, due to be completed in September.

The trail will provide a vital link between the West Bank Center and the waterfront and includes minor improvements to the Smith Creek storm work.
