Mountain goat at home

A mountain goat visited a house in Peachland this week.
Marianne tells Castanet that the mountain goat migrated to her property on Monday afternoon.
“My neighbor called to tell us the mountain goat had run into our property. He was standing on the rocks overlooking the lake.”
Marianne says she was shocked to see the animal so close.
“We were pretty surprised because they usually live in Summerland. It was huge. He looked almost the size of a polar bear. I wonder if it came from the Goat Peak, ”she added.
