West Kelowna racing driver Marco Kacic has won another race in California.

The 16-year-old star, who announced earlier this month that he had secured funds to compete in the 2019 season, took the first round of the F4 Formula Pro USA Championship in Sonoma over the weekend.

Marco won each of the races in the double header after qualifying both times in pole position.

He also received bonus points for the fastest laps in each race.

Marco now has a considerable lead in points in the 12-race championship.

He will contest the next race in April in Fontana, California.

“I would like to thank my team, the Doran Motorsports Group and all of my supporters,” said Marco.

“Without my sponsors and investors, there was no way I could have attended this race. Thank you all!”

Marco’s Formula 4 debut was only last month when the youngster won his first race in California.
