<p dir=“Our hearts are broken,” said Rockets President and GM Bruce Hamilton. “We lost a wonderful member of the Rockets family. Our love and condolences go to his wife Joanne and his sons Josh and Jeremy. “

Rockets head coach Kris Mallette said the organization had lost an incredible friend in the man they called JB.

“This is a terrible loss for everyone who knew him, he was a fantastic person. He treated our staff and players like his own family, he drove us safely every time he got behind the wheel, ”said Mallette.

“We never had a worry, he was someone we knew where we were going from, we got there safely. It will not be easily replaced. “

Mallette added that he loved listening to Bosher’s stories when he talked about how proud he was of his family and how much he loved his wife and sons.

<p dir=“I will really miss how much he enjoyed hearing from our families and how much he cared about our team and our players,” said the Rockets head coach.

“It’s a terrible loss for those lucky enough to know JB, he left way too early. Our thoughts go with the Bosher family, our employees and players extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends. “

Bosher, who was also a noted lacrosse coach in the Kamloops community, also rode the bus for his home team between 2015-18.

The Blazers released the following statement: “The Blazers are sad to hear of the death of former team bus driver Justin Bosher. Justin drove for us from 2015-18 and always had the team’s safety in mind. We’d like to express our condolences to his family, the lacrosse community and the Kelowna Rockets. “
