Kelowna RCMP are asking the public for help identifying a man they believe may have been involved in a shooting that took place at the Shell gas station at 1850 KLO Road.

According to a Kelowna RCMP media release, on Aug. 2, an unknown male drove the victim of a shooting to the Kelowna General Hospital and then left on foot.

The man drove a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu with license plate number SA5 03N to the hospital.

Police say about one hour after the shooting it received the report of a vehicle engulfed in flames near 775 Deans Road. It later identified the vehicle as a two-door brown, gold or tan, 1990-1993 Honda Accord.
