Two men were arrested for selling drugs to teenagers.

After a year-long investigation, Kelowna RCMP raided a condo on the 1400 block of Judge Street where they discovered illegal drugs intended for teenagers.

The December 9 search turned up about 4 pounds of psilocybin, 40 pounds of cannabis, 1300 tablets of LSD, $10,000.00 in cash and a 2017 Jaguar SUV, among other items.

The suspects texted and met with teenagers in Kelowna.

The drug dealers, 37 and 50, are both charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of distributing cannabis under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Cannabis Act.

“Parents are reminded to monitor who their children interact with as the suspects in this investigation were not overly sophisticated,” said Sgt. Desmond Kiehlbauch of Proactive Enforcement. “Monitoring adolescents’ communications in similar situations could discourage them from using harmful substances.”
