Kelowna country singer Teigen Gayse has released a new music video with a local shoot.

Her hit song “Blame the Wine” was filmed at O’Rourke’s Family Estate Winery in Lake Country.

The song alludes to the wild and crazy things that can happen while enjoying the delicious heady drink.

“It’s the perfect setting for an incredible wine tasting, and the video shows its many properties,” she said.

Gayse says she wrote the song when she was in Texas after a glass of wine too much.

“My producer and I rewrote the song in less than an hour. I gave him the title of the song and it was so easy. We had so much content to use. “

“Blame the Wine” was released on country radio and on all streaming platforms in August this year. It reached number 46 on the Billboard charts.

“I’m so excited for people to see it. It took a while but I’m glad it’s out. We live in the wine country so it’s perfect for showcasing the city. I hope people have Fun of it, “she added.

Her next adventure takes her to Nashville and the Canadian Country Music Awards, leaving just enough time to release her new Christmas single on November 12th.
