A Kelowna man is getting surprising attention online after posting a picture of an interesting park job at Walmart this morning.

Rich Moeller and his wife were at the Kelowna store at around 7:15 a.m. on Aug. 29 when they noticed a vehicle parked in the shopping cart return area, he said.

“Walmart has now covered parking spaces,” he wrote in a Facebook post that has garnered around 400 reactions, more than 60 comments and 60 shares since it was posted this morning.

He follows an Okanagan Facebook group that shares ridiculous parking jobs called “Shaming Drivers of the Okanagan” and thought it would be a good place to share the photo.

“I read some comments and thought, Holy God, I must have done some people’s morning,” he said.

He didn’t expect the photo to attract so much attention.

“I just thought it was kind of weird, I thought everyone needs a little giggle,” he said.
