American comedian and podcaster Bert Kreischer has announced a lengthy world tour for the new year.
It will start in Europe in January and make its way back to North American soil in February, which includes a small handful of stops in Canada.
His only date in British Columbia will be a show on Sunday, March 5, at Prospera Place in Kelowna.
Tickets will go on sale through Select Your Tickets starting Friday at 10 am, with a local presale set for Wednesday at 10 am.
The Tops Off World Tour comes on the heels of The Berty Boy Relapse Tour, which saw Kreischer sell out arenas across North America.
Kreischer, whose nickname is “The Machine,” rose to prominence in the late 90s when he was featured in a Rolling Stone article while attending Florida State University.
The magazine named Kreischer the top partier at the number one party school in the country and it served as inspiration for the 2002 film National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, which starred BC’s Ryan Reynolds.
The 49-year-old has spent the last two decades as a successful stand-up comic, but also gained stardom through a variety of different avenues.
He has hosted multiple television shows and podcasts, and been a recurring guest on a number of big-name podcasts hosted by Joe Rogan, Marc Maron, Doug Benson and Tom Segura.
Kreischer often performs shirtless and is known for his storytelling, including his classic tale about inadvertently joining the Russian mafia while on a college trip that earned him his nickname.
