Another Okanagan company appears to show their love and support for the Okanagan health care workers.

Calvin Beres, owner of two Jiffy Lubes, is offering a free oil change to the first 100 Interior Health employees at its two locations from Monday, September 13, 2021.

Beres tells Castanet that following the protest outside Kelowna General Hospital, he decided to do something special for frontline health workers.

“They are not the people to protest against. We want to show that we care about them and the community stands by them,” says Beres.

The generous offer is available to all Interior Health employees and is offered at both Beres Jiffy Lube locations, one on 1995 Harvey Ave in Kelowna and the other at 3010 Louis Dr. in West Kelowna.

“Come in and show us your Interior Health badge and the first 100 people who walk in will get a free oil change,” says Beres.

The generous offer is strictly first come, first served, and Beres says it will be full by Monday and ready to go until it hits the 100 free oil change mark.
