Kelowna burglar suspect arrested over the weekend

The incident occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. on November 28th

A 41-year-old Kelowna man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly breaking into a shop.

Kelowna RCMP said the man was arrested early Saturday morning. Police said they received a report of a commercial alert in a store in downtown Kelowna at around 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, November 28th

The officers responded immediately, located and arrested a man in the Bernard Avenue store without incident.

The man has since been released from police custody on the terms of a future court hearing. The case will be referred to the BC prosecutor for review.
