WEST KELOWNA – A West Kelowna store has been vandalized four times since March.
The recent destruction was captured on surveillance video.
Luke Sumpantarat and his wife own a Thai fusion restaurant.
He says the vandalism is affecting the bottom line of the company.
“It happens so often and it’s hard for the business to make money when you’ve been closed all the time,” says Sumpantarat.

The restaurant windows were smashed the first few times, Sumpantarat says, thinking the attacks were accidental. Now he wonders if he will be targeted.
He says when the restaurant first opened five years ago he received a call from someone who said there was no room for another Thai restaurant in West Kelowna.

Sumpantarat is reluctant to jump to conclusions about who might destroy his business, but he expects them to return.
“I think so. Unfortunately. I’m staring into my camera all the time now.”
