BC’s only chapter of Urban Bulldogs Against Kids Abuse will host its second annual poker run from Kelowna to Penticton later this month, followed by a concert.

UBAKA Kelowna is a non-profit organization that supports women and children who are in an unfavorable situation. The group helps children who are bullied or abused, as well as mothers who leave abusive relationships. This also includes accompaniment in court.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 28th. It starts in Kelowna at Konquer Motorcycles, and there will be stops for maps on the way to Penticton. Lunch will be served at the Legion in Summerland.

The concert, titled After the Run Rock, will feature local bands such as Life, Tattoo Slogan and Three Quarter Crush.

Many local businesses have also got involved to support the event with prizes and silent auction items.
