Free community activities are returning to Kelowna’s parks

The Park & ​​Play and Dancing in the Park events will resume this month

Two popular events are returning to Kelowna this summer.

Dancing in the Park is a weekly dance class held in Stewart Park. Each week, participants of all ages and experience levels are invited to explore a different style of dance, including Zumba, hip hop, and country. After the course from 6.30 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. there will be a sunset yoga class. While dancing in the park every Thursday for the remainder of summer, yoga classes are only offered between July 21st and August 21st.

Park & ​​Play is also celebrating a comeback on July 19th. For the remainder of the summer, Park & ​​Play will be running midweek between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in neighborhood parks across Kelowna with games and activities for all ages.

As part of the Meet Me on Bernard initiative, Park and Play will host activities on Bernard Avenue on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
