KELOWNA, BC – The Little Hobo was packing up and removing the last items from their Lawrence Avenue location Friday when a waterline broke, flooding the restaurant.

At 4:15 pm, the owners were unable to reach the city to turn off the water main and had to call the fire department for help.

Tables and chairs were floating as the water rose and began pouring out the door.

The Little Hobo had outgrown the location and were in the process of moving to a new, bigger location on Leon Avenue.

Damage to the vintage building the restaurant occupied was extensive due to the flooding.
