Raymer Avenue between Richter and Ethel Streets will not be reduced to eastbound traffic until Monday, September 13, 2021.

The City of Kelowna will work to improve the active transport corridor and water supply.

The $ 1.1 million project will expand the Ethel Street Active Transportation Corridor south, connecting downtown to South Pandosy, and replacing the aging water infrastructure.

The route provides better access for cyclists and pedestrians to key destinations such as Okanagan College with future connections to the multi-purpose Lakeshore Road and Gordon Drive bike paths.

The project should be completed by the end of November.
