Interior Health is hosting two more COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Rutland and Big White next week.

On June 7th, between 2pm and 4pm, people who live or work in Rutland just drop by, register and receive a vaccine at Rutland Centennial Park, 190 McIntosh Road. It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance. Those who have not yet received their first dose are eligible.

Residents who are unable to attend the drop-in clinic can still get the vaccine by booking online through the provincial system.

At Big White on June 8 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., people who live or work at Big White can have either their first or second dose of the vaccine outside the clock tower. No appointment is required.

“In accordance with provincial guidelines, anyone who received AstraZeneca as their first dose can choose to have a second AstraZeneca vaccine or a Pfizer / Moderna vaccine,” IH said in a press release.
