There has been a confirmed COVID-19 case at Rose Valley Elementary School, school officials announced today, Nov. 8.

“They are self-isolating at home with the assistance of local health teams. Interior Health is tracking anyone who may be exposed to a confirmed case directly through contact tracing,” Central Okanagan Public Schools officials said in a notice distributed on Sunday.

“The safety and well-being of students, families and employees remains our top priority. Central Okanagan public schools will continue to implement strict health and safety protocols and procedures in place to ensure that students and employees remain as safe as possible Go to school as much as possible. ”

The district does not indicate whether an employee, teacher, or student has been diagnosed.

The school reminds people to stay home from school if they show any symptoms.

The E’cole Glenrosa Middle School, the E’cole Dr. Knox Middle School and Kelowna Secondary School had announced expositions the same day. Virus exposures were also carried out at the Okanagan Mission Secondary in Kelowna, St. Joseph Elementary School, and the École de l’Anse-au-sable.

The outbreak at the École de L’Anse-au-sable was declared last week.
