Schools did not disclose how many people tested positive or whether students or teachers – or both – were affected.
Each person is now self-isolating at home with support from public health teams, the school district said.
“The safety and wellbeing of students, families and employees remain our top priority,” he added.
“Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement strict health and safety protocols and procedures in place so that students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible.”
