KELOWNA – An Okanagan casting company is searching for talent for a movie that will be filmed in Kelowna this November.
This monday. On November 5th, Okanagan will be in the background casting at the Boomers Sports Bar & Grill in the Capital News Center in Kelowna.
According to the Facebook page, there will be an “informal” casting call between 2pm and 4pm. The kitchen and bar are open; and it should be noted that Boomers is an establishment for all ages.
The feature film is called “Undying” and will be shot in Kelowna from November 13th to December 8th. The film is a romantic drama set in Northern California and shot in the Okanagan.
The film is directed by Scott Speer and is about young love, loss and letting go.
You’re looking for a range of extras and specific background artists to take on roles as dual, surrogate, and extras.
Those interested can visit the Facebook page for a list of roles or email info@okanaganbackgroundcasting.com for more information.
People may have the option to work for a day or more. That’s paid work. Dates can change during filming, so flexibility is a must.
