Porch pirates are a problem around the world and it seems like Kelowna is no exception.
A frustrated Lower Mission resident reached out to KelownaNow after the expected delivery picked up from the porch less than an hour after it was delivered.
The resident, who wanted to remain anonymous, said the package was dropped off at his home in the Brighton townhouse complex at 1 p.m. on Friday.
What happened 53 minutes later was captured on camera by the resident’s nest camera.

The footage shows a blue SUV pulling up in front of the house before a woman gets up from the passenger seat and approaches the front door.
Then she takes the package that was dropped off at 1 p.m. and hurries back to the waiting vehicle.
As soon as she is inside, the vehicle speeds away quickly.
The resident said the video was broadcast to the Kelowna RCMP today.
