Frame Custom Homes’ Urban Retreat has won five Okanagan Housing Awards.
The nominees stand for the 2021 Okanagan Housing Awards of Excellence – formerly known as the Tommie Awards – and Frame Custom Homes appears to have hit a home run with Urban Retreat.
The 5,200-square-foot, four-bedroom, six-bathroom home in Kelowna has been nominated for five OHAs to be distributed by the Central Okanagan Chapter of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association in January.
Frame Custom Homes is responsible for four nominations from Urban Retreat, with Schnell Design Inc. receiving the other in the “Excellence in Creating an Interior Feature” category. In addition, a carriage house built on the same property as Urban Retreat was the only candidate in the “Excellence in Small Scale Home” category.
Frame Custom Homes received a total of 11 nominations, five more than any other company, but it will compete against itself in three categories.
Everton Ridge Homes, Natalie Fuglestveit Interior Design and Marvel Pro Contracting & Renovations Ltd. received six nominations for projects completed between January 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020.
